Having the bike has made life even better.
Logging operations.
This is Mannebru and is quite well known in the area.
It used to be one of the primary ways of getting across the river.
Built 1922 and needs help.
Yesterday a friend of mine from Spain and I left our complex around 3 and manage to get back about 9.30. We took our bikes out exploring and ended up on some deep roads. We had seen the rocks and heard about them. It is a well known landmark for folks around here called Gygrestolen. I ended up having to ask for directions 3 times since no one spoke English way out in the sticks.
We came to Uvdalstjønna which is a good sized lake and had to take a dip. Holy ice balls Batman.
Endelig
A lot of the hike up was heavily rooted, bogs, rocks, stream, etc.
This section was waterslide area. (Not just wet but flowing)
My pictures do not do this area justice.
Get to the higher elevations and it is rock.
Yes, I suppose you can sort of see some of Bø.
And some of Uvdalstjønna
I live somewhere under my right armpit a few valleys over.
Anywho, if you care to see some other pictures of Gygrestolen, click HERE
For those really wet hands...
