Aldersheim

Today I was at the old folk's home here in Bø for class. It was interesting comparing it to the American system. As one might expect with a welfare state there is more government involvement here with the elderly. I thought the building and things were really pretty nice. It is on the way to and from my place from town so I go by it a lot. There was also a lecture before the trip.

I led a hike up to Åstjønn (a lake near Breisås) the other day. We had a rat dog in tow. I literally have no idea how this thing made it up there and back. Marshmallows and hotdogs over the fire. Jepp.

Just my view this morning

Yesterday I paid kr.27 for a cup of coffee that was terrible. 

The tea was not able to be found in the flavors desired.

No complaints about the company though.

Apple festival in Gvarv this Sat.

A friend from Spain had his birthday on Wed. 

We are going to celebrate this weekend.
We made an incredible mead.

Time to tryout the Nordland's beer.
