Bø Museet

Jepp. I was at the museum here in town the other day. There was a presentation on textiles that was actually quite interesting. It linked some patters I have seen before while working at the Scan Center and have seen in Scandinavian life between Pagan belief and current times.
There is an old house on the grounds from the late 1600s or early 1700s.
This is part of the ceiling. This motif continues all over.
Just one of those old houses with rosemaling over everything.

Then I made my way to the old town store.
During the war the supply of tobacco was pretty well shut off.
Norway ended up growing its own crop and apparently it smelled and tasted like burning horse turds.
Exhibit A
Just cruzin' and enjoying
