I Brought a Broom

Well week one is done now for fall 2013 at PLU. The week went well and I am not adding or dropping any courses. Last week was a hot one where we hit 95* on one of the days. This week looks like it will be on the cooler side. The homework has been on the light side so far so that is nice. I look forward to the coming week. The Scandinavian club will be meeting on Wednesday evening along with various other meetings. I have applied to a few on campus positions so figures crossed on that. The pay is not so great but the hour flexibility and the fact that I would not have to burn any gasoline makes the positions attractive.

What else...

I made a run for a few hours to Oly on Saturday. Ran two loads on laundry and picked up some more stuff that I wanted up here in Parkland. Scratched cats, bought some groceries, did some banking, etc.
Parkland is so classy
The bike was down for the count for at least 4 days. Alas, I went to the store and it is now back in shape and sporting a gold nipple, because I have to keep up with the class of Parkland.

Again, attempting to keep up with the crowd I had to buy fancy soft rugs.
I was at the store and saw ahBoots!
The Mary Croudfugus Markgus Happerfoffer Darnwindgoff Fortnight Music building had to be modified when it was built costing an extra bazillion dollars because these old growth trees were not to be cut down. This is the result:
Note: The Mary Croudfugus Markgus Happerfoffer Darnwindgoff Fortnight Music building is actually named "The Mary Baker Russell Music Center for the Performing Arts". The name is just so ludicrously long I enjoy embellishment.

Make it a good one and eat a salmon, because it is in season yo.
