Currently we are painting at work. The last time the Center had paint was probably 1995 or so. It is sort of dated and does not have enough Scandinavian flare. That is changing. It is largely typical Norwegian blue hue and white.
February 6th we open with an exhibit on the Sami which also coincidences with Sami National Day (
Sámi álbmotbeaivi) It will be quite the exhibit.
Here are a couple items from the archives; we have thousands more. There will be a Lavvu set up as well. I will be bringing some of my own items for display.
Tuesday of next week my Jterm class will be going to the Scan Center to look at some items. Most specificaly an America chest. This is to help students visualize some of the items in the novels we are reading. I will be helping organize these items for the class presentation. These are the real deal.

The first major paper for this Jterm class was handed in this morning. First quiz is back. Work tomorrow, much reading, quiz Thurs. concert Friday. Pretty much how it goes.
