Jterm

J-Term continues. My class is Scandinavian Migrant Literature 341. There is a lot of reading but the material is relatively interesting. I am working over this weekend on the first paper and...reading. If any book nerds care to look it up; I finished a couple of days ago with The Emigrants by Vilhelm Moberg. It is the first book in a three part series and half the focus of the paper I am writing this weekend. I am currently reading Giants in the Earth by Ole Rølvåg.

Work is good at the Scandinavian Cultural Center. Christmas is down and I helped change out and build a couple of new displays of Rosemaling.

I took a trip out to Orting last week, poked around town, hiked, and messed around the river for a good amount of time.

Today I spent some time at Clark's Creek Park. It is kind of neat with a network of trails, water, and a dog park. I suppose there could even be some relatively entertaining biking in there. I also hung around Puyallup for a short time in the Monsoon that engulfed everything today.
Concert tonight by Surfer Blood.
Make it a good one, perhaps chew on some Swedish candy
