In addition to having a great deal of tractors and farm equipment we also have logging trucks.

This is the old church.

 It dates to 1180 and is dedicated to Olav den helige (Olav the holy). (king)

uh..so usually these have horses (hester).

I found the high school.

I left my place at 8.30 this morning and got back about 16.00. There is a trail leaving from Breisås (a complex of housing) heading out into the woods. There are a few lakes out that way and other good stuff. We had a group of about 14 of us on this hike and went by Svarttjønn and made our final destination Åstjønn. These are both lakes.

We found the mother load of blueberries. They go on forever.

The lake sort of curves around the bend, but this sort of gives you an idea. 

We picked a large amount of blueberries and mushrooms. It was actually a tad cold out with the wind so we built a fire and made blueberry soup and cooked the mushrooms. One of the guys, Jens, brought a pole and we caught a couple of fish but they were pretty small. I thought about swimming..

but it was more of just a thought.
