A Very Close Shave

Yesterday Boots had an appointment with the vet. for "grooming". I dropped her off at 8.30 in the morning and was told she would be receiving a Lion Shave...ok. 2 pm rolls around and I have yet to hear anything about the cat. Knowing she is 12 years old there is risk involved anytime she is at the vet. I called the vet to check on her to find out they were indeed continuing their work with Boots..without sedation.
Quote: "She was putting up quite the fight so we are taking it in brief periods. The tech is currently on lunch and about halfway through the shave. We will call you when she is ready".
That poor technician. Boots puts up quite the fight. I could only imagine the events. 4.30 rolls around and I finally get the call she is ready to be picked up. When I arrive to the clinic I find not Boots but a drowned rat. Pure unadulterated deep laughing ensued.
Feast your eyes upon this magnificent beast
Anywho. I guess it is the tail the is most hilarious. Lion Shave...pft
