Opptatt

I have been very busy. The Sámi exhibit opened on Thursday and went wonderfully. The past week I was working sun up to far past sun down with school, the Scan center, and other things. We had the Chief Leschi school kids at the opening to perform and welcome us to their land. The Scan Center director then gave a quick welcome speech followed by various other talks. Risten Gaup flew in from Kautokeino to give a presentation and joik. We had food including the reindeer sausage and a couple of films.

Still in process

Here is a link to some more pictures.
I was in Olympia briefly to take care of some things. Creepy thing in the woods.

Classes started on Wednesday. The load looks to be moderate to heavy for this semester. I think half way into this thing I am going to want to explode...oh well, that is the way it goes.

Saturday we had some clear weather where all the mountains were out, well, Rainier was partially shrouded. I rode from DT Tacoma up just north of Gig and back. Wrong clothing made going over the narrows a tad cold, man does that wind blow.
