I made a scouting trip up the Snow lake trail last week to see what the snow levels were like in the Cascades.

Yes, there is snow.

The snow only became deeper as I went on. I eventually just turned around. I will be back in July or August as this trail leads fairly deep into the cascades for alpine lakes, meadows, and wilderness. I never even broke out of the tree line this go around.

Work continues. My general plan is to just continue where I am through the end of July (assuming nothing that is short term and "better" shows up) or possibly the first week of August. This will give me a couple of weeks to move to Parkland, relax, and get my head in "the game"...I want to get to the lake or other places as well.
