This morning I officially checked out of my residence in Parkland.
This last week I have been continuing the work at the Scandinavian Cultural Center. We repainted all of the bays where the primary displays are located so the entire Immigration Exhibition had to come down. That took 3.5 hours to relocate to a centralized area. After painting was done it took me a good 5.5 hours to get the entirety of the exhibition back up. It looks good though. Today we decided on a new software database to purchase and that will be happening in the next couple of days. I will be making the switchover from the old system to this new system with the entirety of our archive collection. It is no small task and will be the chief item to finish before I move to Norway in August.
Funding was discussed, plans, etc. Between that and finishing the final cleaning of the apartment it was a busy day.
