Finally

Finals are done. This means I am done with my first semester at PLU. I am still very pleased with PLU and what I have going on here. My Music of Scandinavia Class finished, officially, on Monday when I received my grade. Friday I received the take home written final for Norwegian which was largely just a book report on the novel we had read in class (in Norwegian of course). Tuesday I had the oral exam for Norwegian where the professor remarked, "how refreshing it was to be able to speak freely and know I am understanding what he was saying" in comparison to the previous oral exams of my classmates. Tuesday evening what the religion final, my hardest class this semester. It went ok. The entire class met afterwards at the professor's house for drinks and holiday foods. That was certainly nice of him.

Today has been slow and mostly just recovery. Kim flies back to Norway for the break on Friday, Rasmus flies to Kalispel, MT on Friday with some other guys for a ski trip, and Jeremy is flying to Florida on Saturday. I have a meeting Thursday mid-morning but am thinking I might head to Oly sometime around noon/one o'clock Thursday.

PLU had "Therapy dogs" and one infiltrating cat at red square for a couple days this last week. I loved the cat and the maybe 8 week old ball of puff golden retriever puppy. It just rolled around. The News Tribune did an article on the shenanigans here

For whatever reason this blogging interface is not working correctly so I will have to give this to you as a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCLhU6nfh8M

Some of our decor. The only thing added now is an advent candle thing in the window
We had a roast the other week
