Matthew is here. He flew in on the 16th. I managed to have some time to run down to Oly on Friday afternoon after classes, meetings, and dropping a roommate off in Dupont. It was good to be back in Olympia. All of the trees were very colorful and the weather was good. Saturday we we were in Olympia until after birthday dinner for Grandpa and Matthew; then we raced out the door up to PLU for the performance of Kiss Me Kate where Hannah played Lois Lane. Matthew spent the night Saturday and is still here on Monday. I showed him Bressman forest, campus, and ...stuff. I will drive him to the 512 Park and ride where he will catch a bus to Olympia for a dentist appointment. I have Friday off and plan to head back to Olympia for a few days. Matthew flies back to LA on Sunday.

This Wednesday I have that presentation of Sofia Jannok (see previous blog entry). I am nearly done with the preparation for that.Some Swedes and Finns will be in my music class today performing on some very old traditional instruments.
