Well, I put up Christmas lights on the house and a few of the trees. It was a tad of an engineering fiasco since this is the first time I have put lights on this house. I think the total damage came out to:
3 new extension cords, two 3-2 prong adapters, and 3 new strings of lights. I was able to use the rest of the older stuff. The entire system is controlled by the flick of a switch inside the house; neat.
The warm weather around here is certainly something "different" for me. Shorts and t-shirt usually do it for me to ~40*F, sometimes a sweatshirt/rain jacket. Oly has been...wet.
Some other decorations have gone up inside the house as well. These too have been interesting to find places where they fit.
Matthew flies in on the 15th and we plan to get the tree that day.
With the lack of snow and cooler temperatures I am very ready to head to Roslyn for New years, Smörgåsbord festivities, etc...
Smörgåsbord is actually "koldtbord" in Norwegian. Though the term is interchangeable.
Javel, men vi alle jo veit at vi er en del svensk også.
Snart!
