The last few days have been spent remodeling the entry/laundry room in Puyallup.
Unfortunately I forgot to take a before picture. The room was full of items and there were cabinetry and counters on the lower portion of the walls in one of the corners.
In this picture you can see where I removed the cabinets and counters. They are trash.
Some tape is visible in this shot since I painted the ceiling and walls. W/D now also disconnected and removed. The cabinets were disassembled for painting.
Paint! White on white. White ceiling and walls. It looks good and with the paneling sort of reminds me of an old wood boat below deck.
In this shot you can make out the cabinets done up. The floor is also in process in this picture. Grout sealer compound went down. That needs to dry and then it is sanded. Two coats of primer go on then the tile goes down.
The monkey wrench in all of this is where the tub/shower combo on the adjacent wall is leaking. The floor rotted out under the cabinets that were removed...some plumbing work will need to happen and probably some extra floor work. Ah mold...
