Wow there are a lot of birthdays this week. It seems as if there are easily two a day. What a popular time of year:) Well, the house is much more empty now that everyone has left, that is: Grandparents, aunt Joyce, and Matthew.
On the plus side, easier toilet use!
Yesterday was spent in Seattle doing Seattle things before taking Matthew to Seatac.
Here is Lesche doing fire boat things. We watched her depart from port and then saw the water works display in the bay.
The sailboat/yacht in the picture offers outings for a reasonable $38-$60. Maybe next time. Lunch was Ivar's on Elliot bay and we all had the clam chowder bread bowl (duh!)
We drove by some apartments rather preemptively for my possible move to Seattle and found several that are/were tolerable.
Olsen's seems to no longer be located in Ballard and there are too many people living in Seattle. It took us 30 minutes to go 3 blocks for SB 5. Perhaps it was just poor planning on our part. Either way Matthew made it to his flight and from what I hear is shooting today...the day after he flew in. Make it do brotha.
